An Azure Integration Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing high-level IT solutions that align with business objectives. This role involves analyzing system requirements, defining architecture frameworks, and ensuring scalability, security, and performance. The Architect will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and engineers to deliver robust and innovative technology solutions. The focus of this role is on building robust integration solutions that connect disparate systems, applications, and data sources across the enterprise. This requires deep expertise in integration patterns, API design, cloud services, and data movement technologies to ensure seamless, scalable, and secure interoperability. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Azure Integration Services (Azure API Management, Container Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions, etc.) and will work closely with cross-functional teams including Enterprise, Data, and Salesforce architects to develop blueprints, roadmaps, and scalable integrations. Responsibilities

Design and develop enterprise-level IT architecture solutions, including cloud, infrastructure, applications, and data systems. Evaluate business needs and translate them into technical requirements and architectural blueprints. Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices and compliance standards. Lead the integration of new technologies, APIs, and third-party services into existing infrastructure. Provide technical guidance to development teams and oversee the implementation of architectural designs. Conduct system performance analysis, risk assessments, and optimization strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders, including executives, engineers, and business units, to align IT strategy with organizational goals. Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend innovations to improve efficiency and competitiveness. Document architecture standards, policies, and procedures for reference and compliance. Design and implement scalable, high-performance integration solutions using modern patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture, pub/sub, SOA). Design and optimize data pipelines for batch and real-time processing. Establish governance frameworks for integration standards, monitoring, logging, and error handling. Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable cloud solutions. Mentor and guide technical teams on cloud best practices and architectural patterns. Skills

Expertise in designing scalable, high-availability systems. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid architectures, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, PCI, HIPAA). Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. Knowledge of data warehouses, data marts, data lakes, data hubs, and data governance. Experience with microservices, APIs, SOA, and enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication, presentation, and leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams. Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence throughout the organization. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Leadership in driving adoption, consensus, and collaboration across teams. Adaptability to evolving technologies and business needs. Additional Skills

Experience with AI/ML. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. Prior experience in leadership or consulting roles. Experience in the Financial Services industry. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud (compute, storage, networking, security). Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Mule Runtime, Connectors, Design Center, and API Management. Expertise in migrating from MuleSoft to Azure-based integrations. Experience with hybrid on-premises and cloud architectures. Education, Experience, and Certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: 7+ years in IT architecture, systems design, software development, or related fields. 5+ years designing cloud integrations. Proven experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman). Strong background in software development (.NET, Java, Python, etc.) and DevOps practices. Hands-on experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), APIs, and security protocols. Certifications: Azure Certifications (Developer, DevOps Engineer, Administrator, Solutions Architect) TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Foundation MuleSoft Developer and MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect
