We are looking for experienced, innovative, and motivated IT Specialists to support the enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners' mission objectives.
CACI offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed Cybersecurity Analyst, Journeyman. This position supports a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAREUR-AF, and their Mission Partner JMRC in Hohenfels, Germany. This position requires travel OCONUS and is located OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
Supports cybersecurity operations support services, including incident response, compliance reporting, logging, RMF support, SCA, and CSSP support with limited supervisory needs.
Reports cybersecurity events and incidents to the Government and MP Lead.
Responds to cybersecurity incidents with appropriate actions and countermeasures, restoring services as per the USAREUR-AF Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan.
Supports security incident response team activities, including inspections, audits, policy review, and security posture improvement recommendations.
Tests and evaluates security patches for compatibility and resolves configuration issues.
Prepares and maintains artifacts for RMF packages to achieve ATO, including documentation, security controls, and status reporting.
Reports on the organization’s cyber posture, tracks and reports status on orders, directives, and POA&Ms.
Performs vulnerability scans using approved tools, develops trend reports, and provides scan results to service providers.
Supports cyber evaluations, inspections, assessments, and exercises, implementing recommended actions.
Performs logging activities, manages logs, and reports to the Government.
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments, developing methodologies and solutions.
Qualifications:
Currently hold an adjudicated Secret clearance with the ability to maintain it.
BA/BS + 4-7 years of experience.
Certification - 8140 GSEC or Security+.
Expertise in cybersecurity operations support, incident response, and compliance reporting.
Knowledge of RMF, SCA, CSSP support, and adherence to policies.
Experience with vulnerability scanning, log management, and ATO documentation.
Analytical skills in assessing cybersecurity events and developing trend reports.
Ability to work independently on complex assignments and develop solutions.
Effective communication within cybersecurity teams.
TESA Eligible.
Desired:
CISSP certification.
Adaptability to changing circumstances.
Understanding of DoD standards and security requirements.
