Content Strategist
This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus. Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
6 years of experience working in content, technology, support operations, or related fields.
2 years of experience with analytics, deriving insights from data, or structuring recommendations based on data analysis.
Experience with technical writing.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working with stakeholders in Product and Engineering teams with a tech-first mindset, influencing outcomes, and driving measurable results.
Knowledge of content principles, user-centered design, and best practices for creating content for different audiences.
Knowledge of Google Ad Manager, AdMob, AdSense, or related sellside products.
Familiarity with AI-powered content strategy tools and technologies.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while working with geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams in an often ambiguous environment.
The Sellside organization works with publishers worldwide, funding and enabling a free and open web. This role will sit within our Partner Experience team, which enhances the customer journey for publishers by improving support infrastructure and solving critical partner issues. Our team supports publishers' self-help experiences through scalable solutions rooted in content and product expertise, ensuring customers benefit from Google's scaled surfaces-based self-sufficiency solutions.
As a Content Strategist, you will lead the launch of user-centric self-help solutions, including the latest Generative AI-powered capabilities. The Global Partnerships organization explores new opportunities with Google's partners, supporting Google's Product teams with essential partnerships to enhance experiences across advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments, and more. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges depend on role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. Specific salary details for your location will be shared during hiring.
Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders to define strategy and requirements before piloting and scaling content solutions, including AI-powered tools for content creation, optimization, and personalization.
Update existing content solutions to support new product launches and optimize content in priority areas.
Analyze metrics, develop insights, and recommend content strategies, tracking key metrics and content ROI.
Manage complex project schedules, identify risks, influence stakeholders, and overcome roadblocks.
Stay current on content best practices through user research and A/B testing to improve content guidelines and structure for optimal user experience.
