$260,000-$310,000 Annually
We are seeking lateral candidates currently practicing in the same practice group at a large firm. School transcripts may be required for consideration.
Qualifications:
JD degree
3rd or 4th-year associate with 3-4 years of corporate and transactional experience in finance & banking
Admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
Excellent writing, analytical, research, and communication skills
Experience working with top corporations and financial institutions preferred
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong attention to detail
Proven ability to build client relationships and provide exceptional legal advice
Responsibilities:
Provide legal guidance on finance matters including mergers & acquisitions, securities offerings, and corporate governance
Draft legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and memoranda
Participate in negotiations and transactions
Collaborate with senior attorneys on legal strategies
Stay updated on relevant laws and industry trends
Manage and oversee junior associates and paralegals
Locations: Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami, or Dallas
