Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Senior Estimator (Heavy Civil Construction)

Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize and instill a strong safety culture. Collaborate with teams to analyze plans, specifications, and engineering documents. Perform accurate quantity take-offs using computer-aided tools (HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, Bluebeam). Assist in bid preparation, construction scheduling, and production-based cost calculations. Support proposal development and attend pre-bid site visits. Transition successful bids to Operations with clear documentation. Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience. Experience:
10+ years in heavy civil construction (highway, earthwork, underground utilities). Proficiency in HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, Primavera, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office. Other:
Strong teamwork, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication (written/oral) and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented with time management and multitasking skills. Valid Driver’s License. Compensation and Benefits:
Salary:
$165,000–$195,000 per year. Benefits:

Full-time Work Arrangement:
On-site (office-based with occasional site visits). Working Conditions:
Primarily desk work with occasional standing, bending, and lifting (5–20 lbs).
