Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for an Estimator (Heavy Civil Construction) Overview: Our client is a leading employee-owned, heavy civil and industrial general contractor with over 60 years of experience building America’s infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work with an award-winning team while contributing to large-scale, impactful projects. Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Key Responsibilities: Prioritize and promote a safety-first culture. Analyze plans, specifications, and engineering documents. Perform accurate quantity take-offs using computer-aided tools (e.g., HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek). Assist in bid preparation, cost estimation, and construction scheduling. Support proposal development and attend pre-bid site visits. Transition successful bids to Operations teams. Collaborate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and senior leadership. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience. Experience: 3–7 years in heavy civil construction (highway, earthwork, underground utilities). Proficiency in estimating software (HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek), Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Primavera scheduling. Other: Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude. Excellent attention to detail and time management. Valid driver’s license. Compensation and Benefits: Salary:

$85,000–$150,000 per year. Benefits:
