SayPro is seeking a
disabled learner
to join the
Municipality Strategic Partnerships Office . The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience supporting the development, coordination, and implementation of municipality-based strategic partnerships across key service areas. Key Responsibilities:
As part of the SayPro Strategic Partnerships Office, the learner will be exposed to and support partnership efforts in areas such as: 1. Strategic Communications and Support Services
Assist with
Municipality Communications
and
Customer Relations
support.
Support
Executive and Council Services
partnership engagement.
Participate in strategic communications planning and reporting.
2. Human Resources, Legal, and Policy
Contribute to municipal
HR ,
Legal Services , and
Policy & Strategy
partnerships.
Assist in mapping partnership needs and opportunities within HR and governance.
3. Technology and Information Systems
Support initiatives related to
Information Systems ,
Knowledge Management , and
Technology Integration
in municipalities.
Participate in collaborative digital transformation projects.
4. Organisational Performance and Innovation
Engage in
Performance Management ,
Contract Management ,
Data Science , and
Innovation
strategic projects.
Track performance indicators related to partnership outcomes.
5. Urban Management and Human Settlements
Assist with partnerships supporting
Housing Implementation ,
Informal Settlements ,
HOTTS , and
Urban Integration .
Collaborate with internal teams on settlement upgrades and community services.
6. Environmental and Energy Services
Contribute to partnership initiatives in
Climate Change ,
Electricity ,
Sustainable Energy , and
Disaster Risk Management .
Help coordinate resilience-building and community empowerment efforts.
7. Social and Community Development
Support strategic collaborations in
Social Development ,
Early Childhood Development ,
Recreation and Parks , and
Libraries .
Assist in stakeholder mapping and community outreach.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a
person with a disability .
A strong interest in public administration, policy, development, or local government operations.
Good communication, writing, and organisational skills.
Ability to work both independently and in teams.
Computer literacy is essential (MS Office, email, and internet research).
