Job Description Summary The Senior Counsel, Global Investigations will be part of a world-class team leading government, regulatory, and significant internal investigations for GE Vernova. The role will work with the GE Vernova Global Legal Investigations team and collaborate with functional and business colleagues globally, focusing on the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. This position reports to the Executive Counsel, Global Legal Investigations for GE Vernova. Roles and Responsibilities Manage matters and legal strategy for government/regulatory investigations and internal investigations worldwide, with a focus on the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, addressing legal, financial, or reputational risks. Engage with internal stakeholders across functions and external stakeholders, including government agencies and regulators. Drive process standardization and efficiencies in matter management, reporting, budgeting, oversight of outside counsel, and digital forensic/e-discovery processes. Identify emerging issues and trends; partner with Compliance leaders and stakeholders to highlight issues, define process improvements, and support training and messaging. Provide regular case updates and data-driven reports to the team and business leaders. Partner with Ethics & Compliance to identify case trends, outcomes, and root causes, ensuring timely and appropriate corrective actions. Support and deliver training on investigative techniques, compliance, and legal/regulatory issues, leveraging internal and external expertise. Ensure investigations comply with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements, especially related to labor laws, information security, and privacy. Required Qualifications J.D. from a U.S.-accredited law school 6+ years of government enforcement or private sector white-collar defense experience Investigative experience in areas such as anti-corruption, trade controls, anti-trust, AML, intellectual property theft, complex fraud, financial crimes, government contracts, or privacy Strong analytical, communication, and collaborative skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects Cultural sensitivity and emotional intelligence for a global environment Desired Characteristics Experience in internal investigations at a multinational company Knowledge of regulatory and compliance laws in Middle East, Africa, and Europe Second language skills (Arabic or French) Experience in the energy/power generation sector If Contracted In The US The salary range is $176,000 - $250,000 USD annually, influenced by experience, education, and skills. The position is eligible for a performance bonus. The posting closes on 8/17/25.
