is seeking a dynamic and strategic
USA Head of Wholesale
to lead and expand the wholesale channel for our brand. Based in New York and reporting directly to the Commercial Director in London, this role will drive the success of wholesale partnerships and lead the strategic growth of the channel in the USA.
This is a rare opportunity to shape and execute the sales strategy of an iconic British Heritage Brand.
The ideal candidate will be both analytical and entrepreneurial, with a proven track record in wholesale.
Head of Wholesale - USA + Key Focus:
Maintain current, strong relationships with major accounts domestically, in Canada, and internationally, including top-tier specialty stores.
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's goals and momentum.
Own P&L responsibility for wholesale, including setting annual sales targets and KPIs to monitor performance.
Support brand repositioning and growth through influential market presence.
Identify, develop, and manage growth plans for existing and new major accounts, including in Canada and internationally, as well as top specialty stores for RTW.
Manage direct reports, facilitate communication, and report to the UK office.
Business Analysis and Planning:
Understand needs in each territory to tailor product and business strategies.
Analyze sales weekly, monthly, and seasonally to identify growth opportunities.
Prepare weekly updates on core and replenishment styles based on current trends.
Implement demand planning and forecasting strategies tailored to each account.
Develop and communicate pre-season and end-of-season plans.
Create recaps highlighting opportunities, best sellers, and business performance to inform growth strategies.
Review best sellers and missed opportunities quarterly with senior management.
Innovate with out-of-the-box ideas for territory and account growth.
Account Management:
Collaborate with Head Office to meet quarterly sales goals through product assortment and events.
Proactively recommend assortments and sell seasonal lines with a strong showroom presence.
Analyze product performance, customer feedback, trends, and market conditions to influence category assortments.
Ensure accurate and timely order processing.
Maintain budgets, forecasts, and prepare business reviews for online major accounts.
Develop strategies to sustain growth at each market end.
Continuously reforecast and adjust strategies to meet or exceed targets, managing product flow, inventory, and profitability.
