Job Summary: Tesla is seeking a proactive Technical Program Manager to improve team efficiency and visibility by standardizing problem intake and prioritization processes. The role involves collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders, defining KPIs, and designing scalable workflows to ensure alignment on priorities and measurable progress toward goals. Responsibilities: • Develop a unified framework for intake, triage, and prioritization of technical problems (e.g., using RICE scoring, MoSCoW method) • Define KPIs (e.g., cycle time, defect rate, SLA adherence) to measure the effectiveness of prioritization and workflows • Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to refine processes and ensure data-driven decision-making • Design and document end-to-end workflows for development, testing, and deployment (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, incident management) • Train teams on standardized processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Jenkins, Confluence) to ensure adoption and consistency • Build dashboards (e.g., using Grafana, Tableau, or Jira reports) to visualize progress, bottlenecks, and SLA compliance • Partner with engineering leads to align on technical roadmaps and resource allocation Qualifications: Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent in experience • 3+ years of experience in program management, technical project management, or a similar role • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) Preferred: • Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Jenkins pipelines, GitHub Actions) • Background in data analysis or business intelligence (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI) Company: Tesla is an electric vehicle and clean energy company that provides electric cars, solar, and renewable energy solutions.
