The team is hiring a Director, OSP Construction to lead the charge for one of Texas’ most ambitious fiber startups developing, managing, and expanding the entire OSP operations framework across multiple markets. Responsibilities: Recruit, train, and manage regional teams, including splicers, field supervisors, and inspectors, across expanding territories Lead the execution of overlapping fiber builds, ensuring they’re completed on time, on budget, and to spec Own contractor oversight, vendor scorecards, escalation management, and community/government relations Implement internal systems, documentation standards, and performance reports, while building scalable workflows for long-term growth Requirements: 7+ years leading OSP field and construction operations, ideally in telecom or fiber networks Strong understanding of budgets, BOMs, bid processes, and vendor scoring across complex regional deployments Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS/CADD tools, and fiber design platforms Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience Benefits: Company vehicle + travel expenses covered Medical, dental, vision benefits + generous PTO Equity potential and direct impact on company growth Salary: $145,000 – $165,000 annually
