The team is hiring an OSP Engineering Manager to oversee and expand its Outside Plant (OSP) network across rural and suburban markets in the Hudson Valley. Responsibilities:
Oversee OSP engineering and GIS operations, including fiber cable plant, network hubs, cabinets, and colocations
Manage and develop a team of OSP Engineers and GIS professionals
Administer GIS/inventory mapping systems (e.g., Vetro) to document infrastructure and network topologies
Develop and enforce OSP engineering documentation and design standards
Coordinate with construction teams, permitting offices, and internal departments on fiber rollouts
Support easement, right-of-way, and utility coordination activities
Participate in long-term network planning and contribute to deployment strategy
Provide technical support for network implementations and escalated troubleshooting
Requirements:
7–10+ years of progressive leadership in a service provider or fiber broadband environment
Strong knowledge of FTTx and PON architecture, splicing techniques, and construction methodologies
Proficiency with GIS platforms, particularly mapping/inventory tools
Experience managing both internal teams and third-party vendors
Deep understanding of aerial, buried, and underground plant construction
Familiarity with permitting, utility coordination, easements, and rights-of-way
Strong communication and leadership skills
Self-driven and highly collaborative mindset

Salary:
$100,000 – $135,000 base
