Job Summary

Responsible for conducting advanced data research, financial analysis, and strategic evaluations to support business objectives and decision-making processes. This role involves analyzing internal and external data, understanding market and economic trends, and developing actionable recommendations to improve business performance.

Work closely with senior management, project leaders, and cross-functional teams to drive key business initiatives and investments.

Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify data and reporting tools necessary for business, financial, and data analysis. Communicate the results of these analyses. Plan and prepare financial and operational analyses to inform planning and decision making.

Collaborate with Inventory Management, Information Systems, Financial Audit, and other groups to provide intermediate and advanced level analysis and reporting.

Develop and analyze scorecards, providing insights into trends or unusual performance. Analyze market strategies through related product, market, or share trend analysis. Develop measurement tools to identify changing market trends.

Organize plans and recommend analyses and reports to support continuous process improvement.

Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support actionable recommendations. Use business intelligence tools to identify and monitor current and potential customers.

Collect and analyze financial data related to organizational expenses; seek ways to improve budget and forecast accuracy. Summarize and present findings to leadership.

Support long-term financial planning through detailed sales analyses and present findings and business/sales plans to finance teams.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or Business Analytics.

Work Experience:

At least 5 years of related experience or a combination of experience and education.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including functions, charts, PivotTables, nested formulas, macros, Power Query). Strong time management skills for prioritizing and tracking multiple projects. Experience analyzing data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvements.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience with:

SAP, SQL, Tableau, DART, Nquire, SOUL, CRM, PIR & Costing.

Additional information:

Competitive salary range ($79,560 - $115,440), benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. The actual salary depends on location, experience, and skills. Role eligible for bonuses/incentives.
