The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information in our systems and databases. The ideal candidate is highly organized, focused, and capable of handling large volumes of data with precision and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and update data accurately in various systems and databases
Verify data for accuracy and completeness
Perform regular data quality checks and clean-up tasks
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
Create reports or summaries based on entered data
Collaborate with other departments to ensure data consistency and resolve discrepancies
Meet daily/weekly productivity and accuracy goals
Maintain organized records of work completed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role is a plus
Excellent typing skills (accuracy and speed)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and Google Workspace
Familiarity with data entry software or CRM systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent time management and organizational skills
