This is a pivotal leadership role with high visibility and strategic impact, overseeing all financial, administrative, and HR support functions for the U.S. subsidiary based in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial management within manufacturing, construction, or related industries, coupled with exceptional analytical and operational skills. Acting as a strategic partner to the U.S. CEO and collaborating closely with the finance team in Germany, the Director of Finance drive continuous improvement across the organization. Position The Director of Finance will oversee and manage all financial and support human resources, and administrative operations of nobilia’s U.S. subsidiary. This is a new, high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the U.S. CEO and dotted-line to the finance team in Germany. The successful candidate will act as a strategic business partner to the CEO and help strengthen financial governance, operational transparency, and organizational maturity. Objectives and Key Responsibilities Financial Management Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements; collate financial reporting materials, and oversee all financial, project/program and accounting. Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external; assess any changes necessary. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control efforts; provide budget-to-actual variance analyses. Manage financial processes including cash flow, treasury, tax compliance, cost tracking, and internal controls. Coordinate external audits and serve as liaison with auditors, tax authorities, and HR service providers. Prepare monthly financial reports for the parent company in Germany. Support annual financial statements for local entities. Ensure compliance with national tax requirements and reporting Manage organizational financial processes (Cash flow, Cost, Forecasting, Treasure, Tax and accounting obligations) Implement financial management/ reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to, and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements. Carrying out international financial reporting and operations Preparation of the transfer pricing calculation Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the finances overall policies and procedures. Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to leadership. Human Resources Further develop human resources and administration. Establish and manage a comprehensive training program to educate employees regarding staff tools, policies, and procedures. Manage Administrative Processes Legal experience preferred
(e.g., familiarity with contracts, compliance, or corporate governance; attorney credentials not required) Work closely with auditors, tax authorities, and HR service ERP / Software Support the implementation and management of accounting and ERP systems. Evaluate and oversee relationships with software vendors to optimize financial reporting tools . Work Environment and Collaboration Position based in Miami, FL. Requires hands-on leadership and strong cross-functional collaboration with the local U.S. team and headquarters in Germany. Will travel to Germany for onboarding and regular collaboration. Profile Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred but not required). Minimum of 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in finance. Experience in manufacturing, construction, appliances, or related industries preferred. Skills and Personal Qualities Strategic thinker with strong business acumen. High level of integrity, trust, and transparency. Pragmatic, hands-on problem solver with a can-do attitude. Analytical, organized, and decisive.
