Role Description
The Interior Architect & Designer role is essential to Mirra Homes' success. To deliver projects on time and within budget, detailed and thorough documentation is required. This role bridges architecture and interior design, space planning, and material selection to create exceptional projects. It requires a technical understanding of building codes and the ability to think creatively for design decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Interior Design Plans: Create floor plans, elevations, project-specific details, and interior layouts using CAD and 3D modeling software.
Material and Finish Selections: Select finishes, lighting, and organize them into project specifications.
Specifications: Develop project specifications and interior finish schedules.
Optimize Specifications: Research products and make decisions to achieve the best cost-to-value ratio.
Frame Walks & Spec Changes: Attend project frame walks and document design changes.
Marketing Floorplans: Create marketing and site plans for projects.
Trend Research: Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, and finishes.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in residential interior design, architecture, or similar in a home building or construction company.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam REVU, and other design software.
Strong understanding of space planning, building systems, and residential construction.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong design sensibility and problem-solving skills.
Salary Range
$90,000 to $150,000 annually + Bonus
This is an expected pay range, not a guaranteed salary. Actual salary depends on individual qualifications and overall fit.
