In this role, you will bring skills in critical thinking, structuring/solving ambiguous problems, a strong understanding of the product management craft, data analysis, competitive/market analysis, business case development, and executive storytelling to help us solve the next generation of online travel challenges. Sitting within the Product organization, our Product Strategy team works with our Product & Technology leaders in crafting all of our traveler- and partner-facing experiences (i.e., our apps & websites across our portfolio of brands - Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, and more). The Product Strategy team works with local and global teams to set strategy and drive business goals. You will play a key role in leading company-wide strategic projects while working across divisions with senior members of the Product, Technology, Planning, Product Marketing, Business, Marketing, Analytics, and Finance teams. We will help you grow as a product manager, problem solver, relationship builder, and communicator with skills to drive projects successfully across a broad range of topics and personalities. In this role, you will: Deeply understand our products and our business, and identify opportunities to create innovative customer experiences, while driving business growth.
Help craft and deliver strategic product plans and roadmaps using data, imagination, and understanding of traveler experience, industry, and e-commerce.
Tackle complex business challenges, owning the definition, planning, and execution of strategic initiatives, driving the business forward.
Establish and own relationships with senior internal partners in the Product & Technology divisions.
Frame strategic tradeoffs both orally and in writing, considering inputs from many Expedia teams.
Manage complex webs of stakeholders, often with strongly held, differing opinions.
Drive decision-making and alignment by working directly with senior leadership across Expedia Group.
Closely track technology & travel trends, and the competitive landscape to inform long-term product strategy; serve as a subject matter expert.
In partnership with Finance and Planning, help allocate resources appropriately against key initiatives and estimate financial benefits & returns.
Experience and Qualifications: 6-8+ years experience in roles in product management, corporate strategy/product strategy, or at a top-tier strategy consulting firm or equivalent experience.

You have deep experience driving alignment with executive teams holding differing opinions.
You bring a deep understanding of e-commerce, two-sided marketplaces, and/or travel businesses.
You are a seasoned storyteller, builder of executive presentations, and able to communicate complex concepts simply and data-driven.
You are a builder of driver-based financial models/business cases.
You are a collaborative leader who builds high-performing teams; peers want to work with you.
You have excellent oral and written communication skills to influence internally and externally.
You are expert-level with PowerPoint and Excel.
