Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in San Diego, CA to design and develop real-time distributed systems to power core experiences across the company network. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience collaborating with data scientists on developing and debugging different AI search algorithms including depth first, A*, uniform cost search; applying stochastic and deterministic search algorithms to solve real time use cases; working with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their machine learning services (SageMaker); programming in Python, Scala, Java; utilizing containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and data engineering and ETL processes; developing, training, and deploying machine learning models using tools including Databricks, Kubeflow and Seldon; working with Agile, DevOps software development methodologies to focus on iterative development and collaboration among cross functional teams; utilizing Git version control system to manage code repositories; setting up end-to-end CI/CD using Jenkins and alerting tools; and utilizing relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases with machine learning applications. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Sony is an EOE.
