The
Analyst, Customer Intelligence & Operations (Jr. Business Architect)
reports to the Operational Excellence team and plays a key role in executing automation projects by designing and building Pegasystems-driven applications. The role involves developing skills in analyzing, designing, and creating business requirements and specifications within the PEGA platform, including low-code workflows. Collaboration with various business units, stakeholders, and IT teams is essential to optimize automated processes and enforce best practices. This position is based at our Oriental Center facility in San Juan, PR, and follows a hybrid work model.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with multiple business units to define requirements, design, test, and develop automated solutions.
Analyze user requirements and recommend systematic solutions to ensure streamlined processes.
Understand business and operational processes, data sharing, and data correlation for accurate decision-making.
Plan changes with a focus on continuous improvement within an Agile framework to accelerate deployment and development.
Maintain technical documentation and user guides for projects.
Ensure quality standards are met at each sprint and before deployment.
Work with product owners on backlogs and new requests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in business architecture, software development, or automation (co-op or internship experience counts).
Proficiency in the Pega platform preferred; certification as a Pega Certified Business Architect is required within the first year.
Experience managing design, development, and prioritization of business needs.
Strong learning agility and enterprise-wide knowledge of software and automation solutions.
Skills in programming languages, coding standards, and participation in code reviews; experience with UI, web services, or API test automation is a plus.
Experience with testing and QA frameworks in Agile environments.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
Work Authorization & Eligibility
Must be legally authorized to work in the US; ongoing work authorization is required.
Responsible for maintaining work authorization throughout employment.
