We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Executive to join our client, a 30-year old IT staffing firm with an exceptional reputation in the marketplace. This role is perfect for an individual who enjoys the thrill of business development, has a proven track record of success, and is ready to contribute to the growth of a small yet high-impact organization.

What You’ll Do

Identify and target potential clients within the Chicago region for new business development opportunities. Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends to capitalize on new business prospects. Collaborate with an experienced recruiting lead to ensure successful fulfillment of staffing needs. Leverage personal and company networks to establish connections with C-level executives. Attend regular stand-up meetings, demonstrating a collaborative and proactive approach.

What you need:

4-10 years of successful business development experience specifically within IT staffing. Strong understanding of the staffing industry, with a focus on contract and consulting business. Proven track record of independently landing and growing key accounts. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Previous experience in a consulting sales approach is highly advantageous.
