Role Summary:
A leading healthcare organization is seeking Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to support clinical care delivery in a fast-paced family practice setting. Under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, CMAs will assist with patient preparation, clinical procedures, and administrative duties to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, examinations, and procedures
- Record patient vitals and medical data accurately
- Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG, PFT, audiometry, UDS, BAT, phlebotomy (after competency assessment)
- Collect and process lab specimens following clinical protocols
- Maintain and update patient medical records
- Support billing and documentation using medical office software
- Ensure patient confidentiality and deliver care sensitive to patient needs
- Float within the same multi-specialty department as needed
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Certifications:
- BLS - American Heart Association
- One of the following CMA/RMA credentials:
- CMA (AAMA, NHA, NCCT)
- RMA (AMT, NAHP)
- NCMA or AMCA
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic clinical environment
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and clinical data entry
- Compassionate and adaptable in working with diverse patient populations
