We are seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to join a growing healthcare practice in New York. You'll work alongside physicians and nurses to deliver excellent care, maintain efficient office operations, and ensure a positive experience for every patient.
Job Duties:
- Prepare exam rooms and assist during patient visits
- Record patient histories, vitals, and medical information
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Administer injections and perform basic lab procedures (as permitted)
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
- Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills
- Prior experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
- Knowledge of EHR/EMR systems a plus
