Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper
About the Role:
PBS Facility Service is looking for a reliable and motivated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and guest service. As a Housekeeper, you will ensure that our facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming for guests, visitors, and staff. You will work as part of a team under the direction of your supervisor, contributing to the daily maintenance of the building and surrounding areas.
What You Will Do:

  • Guest Room Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bedrooms and bathrooms, ensuring they meet the hotel's cleanliness standards. This involves tasks such as:
  • Changing bed linens and making beds.
  • Replacing used towels and replenishing toiletries and other amenities.
  • Vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, and dusting surfaces.
  • Emptying trash and replacing garbage bags.
  • Cleaning and organizing guest rooms and public areas.
  • Public Area Cleaning: Clean and maintain cleanliness in public areas like hallways, lobbies, elevators, fitness centers, and business centers.
  • Inventory Management: Restock and maintain necessary supplies in guest rooms and housekeeping carts.
  • Reporting Maintenance Issues: Report any maintenance issues, damages, or malfunctions in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate department.
  • Guest Interaction: Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the security and privacy of guest rooms and follow hotel security guidelines. Uphold privacy and security standards for guests and their belongings.
  • Collaboration: Work with other hotel staff, such as the front desk and maintenance teams, to coordinate guest requests and room turnovers.
  • Adherence to Standards: Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

  • Time Management and Organizational Skills: Prioritize tasks efficiently and complete assigned work within designated timeframes.
  • Communication Skills: Interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to Work Independently and in a Team: Be self-motivated while also being able to collaborate with others.
  • Flexibility: Work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Often preferred or required.
  • Previous Experience: Experience in housekeeping or a similar role is often advantageous.
