Maintains Hudson Regional Hospital's policies, procedures, and regulatory standards related to the Central Supply Department. Manages activities and timeliness of personnel engaged in central sterile processing, receiving, and distribution of sterile and non-sterile stock. Oversees processing, sterilizing, and assembly of Operating Room and Nursing unit instruments, trays, and sets throughout the medical center. Performs continuous in-services for employees regarding processing and sterilization techniques. Qualifications: Education: Sterile Processing Certification required; graduation from an accredited institution for Central Sterile Processing. Experience: 5-8 years in a hospital or instrument sterilization setting; 2 years supervisory experience in Sterile Processing preferred; at least 2 years of OR and/or CSPD experience required. Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented, knowledgeable of CNV, AAMI, SDOTH, and OSHA regulations.
