Analyze graduate medical education (GME) programs for compliance with all Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Institutional and program-specific Review Committee (RC) requirements. Maintain accurate and complete records concerning trainee education as required by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)/Review Committee (RC). Compose correspondence, reports, memoranda, agendas, schedules, contract and/or course materials for trainees and medical students. Interpret regulations, policies, guidance, and course directives for efficiency. Develop narrative and statistical information for use by the Program Directors and institutional Graduate Medical Leadership. Requirements

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. This position has mandatory seasonal Influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal Influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire). Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position. This position requires the incumbent to have Tuberculosis testing. This position may require the incumbent to work on call during irregular work hours which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or varying work schedules. Qualifications

Specialized Experience : One year of specialized experience which includes providing administrative support to a residency program for physicians in training; verifying credentialing requirements are met by residents; organizing annual graduation exercises; and utilizing databases to prepare reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education : Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Medical Administration, Healthcare Administration or Medical Education.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience : A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
