Description

Position Overview:

The Yale Club of New York City, a prestigious private alumni membership club, seeks a dynamic and experienced Membership & Marketing Associate. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Membership & Marketing team in driving membership growth, retention, and engagement through innovative marketing strategies and exceptional member services. Responsibilities include membership administrative tasks, including responding to potential members, providing tours, promoting membership and tracking results, understanding membership benefits, and using the in-house software programs to process all aspects of membership. Responsibilities will also include providing support in consistent club communications, marketing efforts, social media management, content creation, and photo/video editing.

Essential Functions:

• Performs all membership administrative duties from responding to member correspondence and telephone calls to

sending out membership payment links, to following up on pending payments. Regular reporting on payment link follow-up.

• Utilizes and understands the Club's software programs to process all aspects of membership.

• Work with and understand mobile applications.

• Provides tours for members and potential members. Regular follow-up on all tours to ensure membership applications are

submitted. Tracks all tour activity to determine tour-to-paid membership.

• Analyze membership data for KPI's and trends. Creating custom dashboards.

• Attend Monthly Membership and Marketing Committee meetings.

• Attend events at the Yale Campus and other off-site destinations to promote membership.

• Attend all membership events on premises.

• Attend selected private events held on premises to promote membership.

• Acts on and resolves member/guest concerns/complaints expeditiously in a manner that is beneficial to all involved.

• Understands and communicates to the member/guest the services available within the Club regarding restaurants, lounges,

member activities and events, transportation, valet services, etc.

• Intra and interdepartmental collaboration to successfully execute marketing strategies.

• Assist in creating on-brand content for print and web, including the website, social media, marketing collateral, email

newsletters, signage, menus, and more.

• Take and edit photos and videos, helping to build upon the Club's digital assets.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Membership & Marketing.

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.

• Must possess basic computer skills.

• Must be able to achieve positive member/guest relations and maximize member/guest satisfaction.

• Establish and uphold positive and productive working relationships with all staff.

• Work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.

• Job routinely requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, talking, and the use of a computer and telephone.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree is a plus or a combination of education and experience.

• Two+ years of experience in membership, hospitality, marketing/communications or other relevant industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.

• Experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not required.

• Photography and videography skills.

Salary Description

$65K - $70K
