Quality Technician:

The Quality Technician participates in modification of the Quality system and is responsible for the auditing and inspection of its systems for compliance to standards.

This position is onsite in Coventry, Rhode Island.

What you'll be doing as a Quality Technician:

Plans and conducts in-process product and process control inspections

Plans and conducts final product acceptance testing

Plans and conducts FOD audits and inspections

Plans and conducts incoming raw material audits and inspections

Plans and conducts Document Control Audits

Plans and conducts Corrective Action Verification audits and inspections

Plans and conducts Tool Calibration and Validation audits and inspections

Participates in Safety Inspections and Audits

Assists in Quality Training

Maintains Quality System's KPI

Qualifications

Skills You Bring to This Role:

Good critical thinking skills

ASQ Certification (CQE/CQA/CQM) preferred

What You Need to be Successful:

At least 2 years of experience in a quality function role with an Associate's degree in a related technical field such as Engineering or Physical Sciences required

OR

at least 5 years of experience in a quality function role with a High School Diploma (GED) will be considered. (Bachelor's degree in related technical field preferred)

Experience working in AS9100

or

ISO9001 quality systems is required

Aerospace experience preferred.

Experience with editing procedures and SOP's preferred
