Tri-State Bobcat, a premier compact equipment dealer with over 40 years of excellence, is expanding and now hiring in Hudson, WI! We're looking for a Service & Rental Counter Associate to provide top-notch support to our walk-in and phone-in customers, as well as to our shop technicians.

As a Service & Rental Counter Associate, you'll play a key role in helping customers with their equipment service and rental needs. From quoting repairs and rentals to coordinating technician work and managing equipment logistics, this is a dynamic position that requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Typical schedule for this role is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm, plus Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm; with pay ranging from $23-29 per hour plus overtime, based on qualifications.

Essential Functions:

Service Responsibilities:

Assist customers with equipment issues and provide repair estimates Create and manage service work orders; schedule and track repairs Communicate with technicians and update customers on job status Perform final quality checks and process invoices Coordinate internal service needs and maintain an organized service yard Rental Responsibilities:

Provide rental information, quotes, and equipment recommendations Assist with loading/unloading and instruct customers on safe equipment use Maintain accurate rental records and inspect equipment post-rental Submit service requests for returned equipment as needed Keep the rental yard clean, organized, and safe Stay current on new equipment through vendor training Minimum Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience working with equipment operations, service, or rental High school diploma or equivalent required Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand equipment functionality Excellent customer service and communication skills High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with CDK/Intellidealer systems is a plus Position benefits:
