We are seeking a motivated and driven
Data Analyst
to join the Vulnerability Management program in Information Security / Cybersecurity. In this role, you will perform data analysis using appropriate statistical methods and graphical display standards, retrieve and analyze data, and present reports to management to support operations and business objectives for the Information Security Team. You will also provide recommendations for improvements and prepare written documentation related to data analysis. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to Information Security / Cybersecurity. You will develop in-depth knowledge of our vulnerability management tools, including training others to report from them. In this role, you will... Provide database and analytical support for the Vulnerability Management Program and other ad hoc Information Security needs. Design, implement, and deliver reports, including monthly reports, risk tracking, and analyses to support security-focused data analysis. Perform data analyses using statistical methods and graphical standards. Retrieve, analyze data, and present reports to management for supporting Vulnerability Management and other objectives. Analyze, summarize, and present information for discussion and decision-making. Provide recommendations and documentation related to data analysis, researching data anomalies and issues. Work with data source and target systems to identify data issues and gaps. Track status, develop, and update data source and target systems, and recommend solutions as needed. What you will need to succeed... 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst using data aggregation tools, preferably
PowerBI or Tableau . Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables, V-lookups, and spreadsheet aggregation. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to understand requestors' needs and communicate complex analysis results. Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience. Good graphical display standards and techniques understanding. Ability to quickly learn and leverage various software tools and systems. Ability to frame complex questions, develop analytical strategies, and clearly communicate conclusions. Results-oriented, self-starter with multi-tasking, prioritization, and deadline skills, along with attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Preferred experience includes: Knowledge of DefectDojo or other Vulnerability Data tools. Knowledge or experience with SQL and/or Python. Experience or education in Cybersecurity or Information Security. Location:
Driving distance to Westbrook, Maine HQ, with a minimum of 2 days/week on-site and flexible hybrid work.
