Data Analyst
to join the Vulnerability Management program in Information Security / Cybersecurity. In this role, you would perform data analysis using appropriate statistical methods and graphical display standards, as well as retrieving and analyzing data and presenting reports to management to support operations and business objectives for the Information Security Team. You would also provide recommendations for improvement and prepare written documentation related to data analysis. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to Information Security / Cybersecurity! You will develop in-depth knowledge of our vulnerability management tools, including training others to report from them. In this role, you will... Provide database and analytical support for the Vulnerability Management Program and other ad hoc Information Security needs. Design, implement, and deliver reports, including monthly reports, risk tracking measurements, and analyses to support security-focused data-driven decisions. Perform data analyses using appropriate statistical methods and graphical standards. Retrieve and analyze data, then present reports to management to support Vulnerability Management and other objectives. Analyze, summarize, and present information and data for discussion and decision-making. Provide recommendations for improvement and document data analysis processes. Research data anomalies and issues. Work with data source and target systems to identify data issues and gaps. Track status and develop/update data source and target systems, recommending solutions as needed. What You Will Need to Succeed... 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with PowerBI or Tableau. Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and spreadsheet aggregation. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work across teams and explain complex analysis results. Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Solid understanding of graphical display standards and techniques. Ability to quickly learn and leverage various software tools and systems. Ability to frame complex questions, develop analytical strategies, and clearly communicate conclusions. Results-oriented, self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines with limited supervision, possessing strong analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience: Knowledge of DefectDojo or other Vulnerability Data Aggregation tools. Knowledge or experience with SQL and/or Python. Education or experience within Cybersecurity or Information Security. Location:
Driving distance to Westbrook, Maine HQ, with a requirement to be on-site at least 2 days per week, with flexible hybrid work options. What You Can Expect From Us: Base salary: $80,000 - $90,000 (flexible if needed). Opportunity for annual cash bonus. Health, Dental, Vision Benefits Day-One. 5% matching 401k.
