Second Shift Metals Warehouse Associates
Automation Personnel Services is seeking skilled Second Shift Metals Warehouse Associates for a metal distribution center located in Alpharetta, GA. With over a century in business, this company is recognized as a leader in the metals industry. This position involves a variety of tasks including handling materials, tracking inventory, operating forklifts and overhead cranes, and completing other assigned responsibilities. Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour Schedule and Hours: Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Overtime may be mandatory. Duties and Responsibilities
Safely load and unload materials utilizing overhead cranes and forklifts. Receive, label, and record incoming and outgoing shipments. Move and position materials into equipment for processing. Support shipping operations and log received goods into digital systems. Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or GED. At least 1 year of related work experience in the steel or metals industry. Prior forklift and overhead crane experience strongly preferred. Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math and reading tasks. Basic computer knowledge for inventory and order entry. Detail-oriented with a commitment to workplace safety. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly during the shift; lifting assessment required. Drug screening and background check is required.
