Automation Personnel Services is seeking skilled

Shift Metals Warehouse Associates
for a metal distribution center located in Alpharetta, GA. With over a century in business, this company is recognized as a leader in the metals industry. This position involves a variety of tasks including handling materials, tracking inventory, operating forklifts and overhead cranes, and completing other assigned responsibilities.
Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Overtime may be mandatory

Shift Metals Warehouse Associates Duties and Responsibilities • Safely load and unload materials utilizing overhead cranes and forklifts. • Receive, label, and record incoming and outgoing shipments. • Move and position materials into equipment for processing. • Support shipping operations and log received goods into digital systems. • Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors
First
Shift Metals Warehouse Associates Qualifications and Requirements • High school diploma or GED. • At least 1 year of related work experience in the steel or metals industry. • Prior forklift and overhead crane experience strongly preferred. • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math and reading tasks. • Basic computer knowledge for inventory and order entry. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to workplace safety. • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly during the shift; lifting assessment required. • Drug screening and background check is required.
