Job Title:
Travel Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Location:
New York, NY 10016 Schedule:
Rotating shifts, any day of the week between 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Weekly Pay: $2,380 (includes stipend)
Requirements: Active LMSW license issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) BLS Certification Primary Source License Verification Minimum 1 year of LMSW experience (hospital or psychiatric emergency setting preferred) Experience with adult psychiatric populations Strong crisis intervention and clinical assessment skills Ability to communicate effectively and manage documentation in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Key Responsibilities:
Deliver discharge planning services for patients seen and released from the psychiatric emergency department Collaborate with medical, nursing, and psychiatric teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care Participate in triage and evaluation processes, providing clinical insight on complex psychosocial cases Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Facilitate access to outpatient treatment, housing, substance use resources, or crisis intervention services Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards Provide patient-centered care that is sensitive to cultural, emotional, and psychosocial factors Support emergency psychiatric services across a rotating schedule, including coverage on weekends and holidays
