Our client is looking to hire a seasoned data analyst who can quickly learn their business requirements and help assess their data systems and programs to improve reporting and other data capabilities. The Data Analyst will be expected to assess complex data systems and programs in support of ad-hoc and standing management or customer requests.
Job Duties: • The Data Analyst will create reports, programs, methodologies, and files for the analysis and presentation of the organization's current and legacy data • Review the client's organization's current and legacy data to evaluate data quality and opportunities for improvement • Research new data sources and analytical tools, such as those available in third-party platforms such as AWS • Contribute to new application and report development, as well as implementing improvements in product delivery and presentation, through the use of database applications and analytical tools • Engage with internal customers in their data collection efforts and seek their feedback on any modifications and improvements they intend to implement
Additional Details: • This position will start 100% onsite & move to a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote after 2 to 6 weeks • An in-person Interview is required, including completing an onsite skills assessment
Required Skills: • Proficiency in data analysis, data modeling, data mining, and database design & optimization (7 Years) • SQL (7 Years)
Preferred Skills: • Python (5 Years) • SAP BusinessObjects (5 Years) • JavaScript, XML, and/or other ETL frameworks (5 Years) • Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS (5 Years)
Preferred Qualifications: • Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize, and analyze data • Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Python, and JavaScript • Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation • Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects and/or programming (JavaScript, XML, or ETL frameworks) databases • Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analyzing
