Job Description:
As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will support a short-term system enhancement initiative by analysing business needs, identifying problems, and proposing solutions. You will serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements for process and system improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide stakeholders on effective approaches to meet project objectives Identify and resolve issues across business and technical teams Liaise with multiple units to gather and define business requirements Analyze and map current and future state business processes Document functional and non-functional requirements Create traceability matrices and maintain requirement updates Develop workflows and process flows aligned with scope items Prepare input for business cases and feasibility assessments Produce high-quality documentation for project deliverables Report status and issues to project leadership
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Strong understanding of requirements elicitation and management practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Visio and Excel Experience with Agile and sprint-based project delivery Familiarity with system testing across devices and platforms Ability to mentor and coach team members (preferred) Excellent interviewing, listening, and facilitation skills Strong analytical and modelling capabilities Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to organize and manage changing information Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
