Senior Security Technician - Lenel/Milestone Experience Required

Integrated Security Solutions, Inc is seeking a full-time Security Technician to work on-site in San Joaquin, California . While ISS is based out of Kalispell, Montana, our organization operates on job sites in all 50 states, four U.S. territories, and internationally based on awarded contracts. All travel related expenses are covered by ISS including vehicle expenses and transportation.
The Security Technician I-III installs, programs, maintains, and repairs security alarm wiring and equipment and ensures work is in accordance with relevant codes for Integrated Security Solutions, INC.
Essential Duties
Drill holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, floors, and other areas as required. Examine systems to locate problems such as loose connections or broken insulation.
Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, and cavity walls to reach fixture outlets, then position and terminate cables, wires, and strapping.
Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures have been met.
Install, maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
Mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, sensors, and video cameras, and attach electrical and telephone wiring in order to connect components.
Mount raceways and conduits, and fasten wires to wood framing, using staplers.
Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, and all security features in order to ensure proper functioning, and to diagnose malfunctions.
Keep informed of new products and developments. Request orders for replacement parts.
Experience installing and supporting Electronic Security Systems (ESS)
Required experience and certification with Lenel and Milestone
Must be able to lift, install and configure ESS systems
Must meet Cybersecurity and physical security access standards
Capable of handling privileged system access
Required Skills
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written communications. Communicate with supervisor, peers, subordinates and other key staff to work as a team and contribute towards company goals.
Phase -in training (including Active Shooter and Antiterrorism training)
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Familiarity with General Records schedule 5.6 for record maintenance
CAC access and adherence to DoD access protocols
Ability to generate reports and manage key inventory electronically
Attention to detail and thoroughness is completed tasks.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions utilizing experience, research, and peer input.
Ability to discuss unusual of complex problems encountered with Project Superintendent or Crew Chief.
Education and Experience
Required – High school diploma or equivalent
Required – Valid driver’s license and real ID following May 7th, 2025
Required – Installation and support experience with Lenel and Milestone
Certifications in ESS systems preferred
US Citizenship required
Must possess a current Secret Clearance
Qualified and trained to work on the Lenel “On Guard” ESS system, CCTV’s and Morse Watchman Keypro systems.
Required - Certified by Lenel as a Lenel Certified Professional (LCP) in Access Control and Video.
Required - Certified as Milestone Certified Integration Technician (MCIT).
Must be proficient in reading and communicating effectively in English.
