COMPENSATION

$103,721.00 - $146,827.00/ Grade C

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the general direction of the Chief Engineering Officer and the Assistant Chief Officer, directs the development, management, and control of Subways Engineering Division's annual Operating Budget. Responsible for all personnel administration within the Engineering Division. Directs all Human Resource functions for the Engineering Division. Ensures that all Subways Engineering Division processes and procedures related to the effective management of NYCT contracts are in-place, updated, and implemented. Manage and coordinate all activities associated with the Internal Control Program, as required by New York State. Serve as Property Control Officer to ensure the accurate identification, audit, and distribution of. The Division's fixed assets.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Education, or related field along with ten (10) years of full-time related experience, and five (5) years of supervisory/managerial experience. Satisfactory equivalent of education and experience. DESIRED SKILLS

(includes but not limited to):

Must exhibit the ability to develop and implement procedures for contract management and engineering performance for contract management, at a variety of organizational levels Thorough knowledge of MTA NYCT budget, human resources, and labor relations processes. The ability to identify root causes of budgetary problems and develop appropriate responses to rectify them. Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.
