4:00 PM (Subject To Change) Compensation: + $103,721.00 - $146,827.00/ Grade C Responsibilities: The position develops and administers the budget for the multi-year Track Capital Programs composed of Mainline and Track Yard and Switch reconstruction projects, totaling approximately $400M annually. Develops and establishes annual goals and budget forecasts, material forecasts, and labor costs. Adjusts divisional goals and reconciles discrepancies between forecasts and actual program expenditures. Scopes and prepares estimates and project status reports for the trackwork performed by the Division of Track under MTA C&D contracts. Issues plans for the next 4-5 years of Track Capital Programs. Represents the Division of Track during the annual MTA bondholder certification of Track Capital Program. Incumbent must be prepared to react/respond to emergencies and other critical occurrences as required, 24 hours/ 7 days a week. Education And Experience: + A Baccalaureate Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering along with eight (8) years of full-time related experience, and four (4) years of supervisory/managerial experience. Desired Skills (Includes But Not Limited To): + Comprehensive knowledge of track construction methods, budget allocation, and financial analysis. + Extensive track project related experience is highly desirable. + Must be experienced in computer tracking, database, and spreadsheet software use.
