Now Hiring! We are seeking a skilled WAREHOUSE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN for food-retail packaging company located near Bartlett, IL area. Company is currently seeking experienced Warehouse Maintenance Technician with welding certification, welder skills. Warehouse Mechanic Techs will troubleshoot and repair mechanical production line machines, install and repair electrical issues and perform maintenance fixtures on various warehouse machinery using warehouse power tools. We welcome all entry level maintenance technicians to apply. Company is seeking full-time, maintenance mechanics with at least 2 or more years of experienced preferred. Electrical background a plus. Hourly Schedule: 2nd shift & 3rd shift positions available, overtime hours only approved by supervisors of department. Hourly Pay: $35 - $40/hr (payrate based on experience level between entry to expert) Skills and Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Food Manufacuring 2-3 years of experience in maintenance tech Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) Experience with manufacturing plants and electrical repair preferred PLC Hardware and Software experience Electrical panel and drive components A/C and D/C motors knowledge Experience with Gear trains, shafts/journals, pulleys, bushings, and bearings Job Summary: Maintenance Mechanic position requires professional level preventative machine mechanical repair experience, Heavy lifting, occasional fork-lift operation, electrical and mechanical work with various tools. Working conditions can be physically and mentally challenging but is NOT limited to the following:
Perform highly diversified maintenance repairs on manufacturing machinery, electrical repairs, compressors systems/or other warehouse machinery General Maintenance Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical equipment: varying voltages, including but not limited to 480v, 240v and transformed 24v power. Motors (all types), starters, breakers, transformers, isolation switches, relays, fuses, resistors, air conditioning, valves, AC Drives, and DC Drives. Repair or replace defective components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Fabricate parts as needed to complete repair Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and logic controller Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and parts used Assist in developing preventive maintenance schedules Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment Work on new installations of all powered industrial
equipment/Electrical
and non-electrical repairs and troubleshooting throughout facility Perform all work as assigned while adhering to established standards associated with workmanship and safety, OSHA, GMPs ect. Responsible for the safe and dependable operating condition of all equipment in the facility. Dismantling and re-assembly of equipment to perform repairs, cleaning Performs all work safely and efficiently per safety standards All candidates must interview and submit detailed resume showing their prior experience to meet company demands.
