Our Client, a Public Utilities company, is looking for a Business Analyst Mid for their Oakbrook Terrace, IL location. Responsibilities: Gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders. Analyzing and documenting current business processes and workflows. Developing and maintaining business process models and documentation. Developing functional and technical specifications for system enhancements or new systems. Facilitating meetings and workshops to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress. Identifying and documenting project risks and issues. Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and define project scope. Supporting the development and testing of new systems or enhancements. Providing training and support to users during system implementation and post-implementation. Participating in the evaluation and selection of software and systems. A Mid-level Business Analyst should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. They should be able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Requirements: Analyze completed construction projects to extract actual costs and performance data Perform unit cost analysis by reviewing project contracts and historical data Evaluate labor, material, and equipment costs within proposals and compare against competitors Assess the accuracy and consistency of current estimates relative to real-world productivity metrics and unit costs Collaborate closely with the Estimating, Contract Management, Supply, Project Management, PMO, Work Management, etc., teams to enhance cost forecasting strategies Provide insights and reporting on cost trends and estimating efficiency Prior experience in estimating construction projects Strong understanding of contract language and cost components Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing construction proposals, bids, and project data Knowledge of construction processes, unit cost metrics, and productivity benchmarking Why Should You Apply?
