He or she identifies and documents the business needs, collects, confirms and writes business requirements for Workday system enhancements and projects, and oversees the implementation of solutions inside the Workday system. Actively partners with outsourced HRIS resources to deliver solutions.Position Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams including Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Development, HRBP, HR Operations and the business to understand our business strategy, processes, services and roadmap to maximize our Workday system and drive successElicit requirements from functional HR teams through interviews to understand the current process and the desired resultUnderstand, communicate and plan for Workday cross-functional system touchpoints and impacts around configuration, business processes, reporting and integrationsWork in partnership with functional HR and technical team members to ensure successful translation of business needs into technical system requirements and acceptance criteriaSet up technical teams for success by writing comprehensive business requirementsServe as a key collaborator between HRIS, HR functional teams and the outsourced HRIS vendor on the implementation of Workday system changes to ensure successful implementationPerform testing and validation of deliverables prior to functional team user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure requirements are metAssist in coaching and supporting functional teams with UAT and end-to-end testing considering downstream impacts, tracking testing progress, pass/fail and feedback; ensure appropriate data sets are available for functional teamsObtain all required UAT documentation and approvals needed for production deploymentProvide input to help functional HR and technical leads prioritize system enhancement requests on the roadmapWork with functional HR and technical teams to educate, prepare and test for upcoming Workday releasesServe as the liaison with the training department to educate users on how to navigate and use the systemCreate documentation and materials to support user adoptionContinually build awareness and knowledge of Workday system and new functionalityUnderstand and promote data governance and ensure attention to data qualityUnderstand and ensure security and data privacy standardsOther projects and duties as assignedRequirements:Education & Experience:Bachelor 's degree in Human Resources, Information systems or Computer Science or equivalent experience plus 3+ years of experience and knowledge of Workday (across multiple products) and extensive knowledge of HR business processes and functionsIdeal candidate will have significant experience with Workday reporting, security, and integrations including vendor coordination for end-to-end testingWorkday post implementation experience requiredKnowledge of IIBA /PMI - Business Analysis Standards and/or equivalent certification preferredExperience with waterfall and agile project methodologiesExperience with Jira/Confluence preferredExceptional analytical ability, strong technical, problem solving and business intelligence skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer service orientation, demonstrating a full understanding of the needs of the customer and ability to develop strong relationships across functional and technology teamsEffective presentation skills to communicate complex information clearlyMust thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where planning, organization, time management and prioritizing is necessaryMust possess the ability to work independently or as part of a team on assignmentsPhysical Demands:All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt's safety policies and guidelines.
