SUMMARY: The primary function of this position, is to troubleshoot, diagnose and make repairs to machinery, equipment and the facility. DUTIES: Promote the improvement of overall reliability, in addition to responding to breakdowns Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include carpentry, welding, mechanical., heating and A/C, plumbing, drywall work, painting, etc., as directed by Management Perform unscheduled maintenance requests as directed Perform scheduled preventive maintenance procedures as required Promote safety in the work place Complete any other routine or non-routine tasks as assigned by supervisor QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 1-3 years hands on experience in industrial maintenance Must be skilled in the use of various power and hand tools, as well as knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, HVAC Must work well under limited supervision Familiarity with blueprints and electrical schematics a plus Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed Forklift experience preferred Must be fluent in English EQUIPMENT USED: Measuring devices, test equipment, lathe, drill press, power saw(s), welding equipment, a variety of hand power and air tools, computer PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting: Average weight to be lifted – 20# with the maximum weight up to 50# Bending / Stooping / Twisting: Frequently Crouching / Kneeling: Frequently Reaching: Frequently Standing: Daily for extended periods of time Walking: Frequently Pushing / Pulling: Occasionally up to 150 lbs. Grasping / Gripping: Frequently Sitting: Rarely Climbing Stairs: Rarely Visual: Must be able to read from computer, or printed matter and must be able to read a ruler to nearest 1/64th of an inch
