Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience ELISA experience Western Blot Experience Experience performing viral transductions, flow cytometry, and quantitative gene expression analyses. Familiarity with liquid handling automation systems for mammalian cell culture.
Job Description An employer is looking for a Senior Research Associate, Viral Vector Analytics Support scientists in establishing small and mid-scale AAV production processes with mammalian cell lines. This will enable pharmaceutical/biotech organizations to bring more cell and gene therapies to patients, by dramatically increasing the efficiency of viral vector production and reducing the cost of manufacturing.
Other Responsibilities Include This role will support the development and execution of workflows for AAV characterization including titer, packaging ratio, aggregation, and sequence integrity. Perform routine sterile cell culture work for mammalian cell lines, including cell passage and cell banking. Contribute to the writing and maintenance of SOPs. Communicate and present experimental and project progress to the Research team. Collaborate with Operations and other teams at 64x Bio to secure experimental resources to complete experiments on time. Create AAV title, take the cell line from genome engineering team, genome engineering, SOP is there, develop the process, and mainly be execution focused (not as DOE focused).
Location:
Brisbane, CA, 94005 (fully onsite) Contract:
6-12 months, extension or conversion based on candidate performance Pay:
