We are currently seeking the following Position ***CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD*** JOB TITLE: LEAD GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT MECHANIC JOB PURPOSE: Perform lead support duties and supervise GSE Mechanic personnel when site supervision is unavailable or the position is vacant. The lead ensures employees complete their assigned tasks on time. Receive work requirements for employees and delegate/assign according to skill set and ensure contract employees are available and/or trained for assigned work. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for accident/incident reporting, attending required meetings. Act as a single point of contact for interfacing with Leadership. Inspects, tests, and operates equipment to determine serviceability and proper functions Removes, disassembles, repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, and assembles Performs precision alignments and uses other precision measuring devices, and reinstalls equipment, accessories, and components Stencils and marking equipment Service equipment with grease, oil, hydraulic fluid, pressurized gases, etc., as required Diagnose malfunctions and perform common repairs on assigned equipment Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic circuitry malfunctions using, but not limited to, visual and auditory senses, and test equipment, before assigning repair action Inspect and approve completed maintenance actions Prepares equipment for storage, shipment, and transport Solves repair problems by studying drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical publications Use local government-approved hazardous waste disposal sites to dispose of hazardous waste shall also store, handle, and use hazardous material and waste according to local, state, and federal environmental policy, standards, and regulations. Will inventory GSE, once inventory is validated with the COR, update the inventory listing in FEMS within 4 months Ensure equipment is maintained and available in sufficient quantities at the time required to support the Government-led aircraft and component maintenance actions. perform corrosion treatment IAW applicable Technical Order, service manual, and the manufacturer's instructions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: This position must have senior knowledge of:

Principles of electricity, electronics, general mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, material properties, and causes/types of corrosion. troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and modifying equipment. Using automated maintenance systems; application of maintenance management techniques; interpretation of maintenance directives, technical publications, drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics. proper identification, handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste materials.

EDUCATION: High School or greater EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years of relevant GSE Mechanic experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Certification for Refrigerant Handling and Recovery, Certified IAW EPA (40 CFR Part 82, Subpart F) under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act Leo Tech, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and Drug-Free Employer.
