Crown Corr, Inc., a national leader in curtain wall, metal panel, and façade systems, is seeking a
Digital Fabrication & BIM Specialist
who is not just a skilled modeler and a Revit expert, but a champion for change — someone excited to help spread the adoption of BIM, digital fabrication, and parametric design practices from just being used on specific projects to being used across the entire organization. This is an opportunity to help shape how the company designs, coordinates, and fabricates complex building envelopes.
What You’ll Do: ·
Be the Revit subject matter expert for the entire company ·
Drive the transition from separate 3D models and 2D drawings to unified, 3D-first, fabrication-ready modeling workflows. ·
Develop and maintain highly detailed BIM and 3D fabrication models for curtain wall and metal panel systems. ·
Advocate for digital best practices, educating and mentoring project teams to embrace a model-based mindset. ·
Collaborate with engineering, project management, and fabrication teams to ensure seamless digital-to-physical workflows. ·
Implement parametric modeling, automation scripts, and digital fabrication tools to improve efficiency and accuracy. ·
Support clash detection, coordination, and model-based project reviews with internal and external partners. ·
Help establish BIM standards, fabrication protocols, and digital workflows that will set the foundation for the company’s future.
What We’re Looking For: ·
Expertise in Revit; knowledge of Rhino/Grasshopper, Inventor, SolidWorks, Navisworks and fabrication software (e.g., CAM, CNC, or nesting software) is a plus. ·
3-5+ years of experience in BIM, architecture, digital fabrication, or 3D modeling within construction or manufacturing (façade experience preferred). Additional years of experience are a plus. ·
A 4-year degree in Architecture, Engineering, Technology, or a related field. ·
An understanding of parametric design, fabrication tolerances, and construction sequencing. ·
A willingness to teach, influence, and inspire others to adopt new digital workflows. ·
A passion for innovation, process improvement, and pushing the boundaries of construction technology.
Why Join Crown Corr? At Crown Corr, we’re redefining how architectural façades are delivered by combining craftsmanship, technology, and innovation. You’ll have the unique opportunity to help spread 3D-first design processes across our entire company, working on landmark projects nationwide while helping to set new industry standards.
Benefits & Growth: ·
Competitive salary & benefits package ·
Hybrid work schedule - combination of in-office and remote work ·
Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
– you’re not just an employee, you’re a beneficial owner (subject to vesting and participation requirements) ·
A pivotal role in shaping the company’s digital future ·
Professional development, training, and mentorship in advanced BIM & fabrication technology ·
Work on innovative, high-profile projects with a collaborative, forward-thinking team
If you’re passionate about advancing digital construction and excited about 3D-based workflows, we want to hear from you!
