The Successful Service Technician / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, validation, and testing of compressed air systems, blowers, vacuum pumps and assorted equipment.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a field service background in mechanical or electrical products, the correct candidate would be working on compressed air equipment, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers. Product training can be provided.
Package $32- $40+ Per Hour Overtime payments Local territory and coverage Company Van 401K
Service Technician
/ Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Role To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air products, vacuum Pumps, Refrigeration systems & Blowers and solutions at customer sites. The Service Technician will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, commissioning, diagnostics, fault finding of various compressed air downstream systems. Maintain, repair, install, validation & testing of varied compressor systems such as air compressors, blowers, dryers, condensate technology, filtration and more. Identifying and providing the customer with compressed air improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare of compressor products. A strong mechanical or electrical background in working with engineering products, open to training on the associated products would be considered. Liaise with various engineering departments. / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Requirements Proven diagnostic skills on complicated mechanical engineering or downstream equipment. Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer or similar. Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, vacuum, blowers, and cooling water systems is helpful, working on similar mechanical systems is needed. The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new compressor customers. Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is helpful, full product training on compressors would be provided. HVAC and EPA certification is a plus. Good working knowledge of air compressor downstream equipment. A field Service background in servicing compressors, instrumentation, filtration, hydraulics or similar compressed air products & systems. Based in Springfield, MO. covering thew local area.
