HR Generalist - Ohio My client is seeking a proactive and approachable HR Generalist to support a wide range of human resources functions across the full employee lifecycle. This role involves working closely with HR leadership and requires comfort in both office and factory/production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support core HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave management, employee relations, performance and talent management, training and development, and health and safety. Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires, as well as manage pre-employment and offboarding processes. Respond to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex issues as needed. Participate in disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations, ensuring professionalism and compliance. Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, and assist in drafting and maintaining HR documentation such as policies, forms, memos, templates, and letters. Recommend and help implement new HR procedures and policies to enhance employee experience and departmental efficiency. Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company-wide appreciation events. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and regularly review internal practices to maintain alignment with legal standards. Stay informed on HR trends, best practices, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies in talent management and employment law. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the HR function.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred; SHRM certification is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of cultural awareness and ethical standards. Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a resourceful mindset and problem-solving aptitude.
