Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Materials Manager to Manufacturing company in Scotts Valley, California. The Materials Manager will be responsible for leading purchasing and stockroom personnel, ensuring seamless material management processes, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

Train the team on processes and ensure adherence to established procedures. Verify Material Planning (MRP) accuracy and oversee execution of material requirements. Provide recommendations for process improvements where needed. Support customer and sales-related activities and respond to inquiries promptly. Manage inventory to minimize excess and obsolete stock. Participate in production meetings to align inventory with customer needs. Place purchase orders for select components and perform supplier reviews. Negotiate component pricing and evaluate potential suppliers for products and services. Support production with expedited activities and products as required. Maintain accurate PO delivery information and supplier details in the MRP system. Collaborate with accounting to resolve payment issues.

Required Work Hours

The position requires a commitment from Monday to Friday, working first shift hours.

Additional Details

This position has an annual salary range between $85,000 and $95,000, based on experience.
