Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Document Control Supervisor
to lead the Document Control team in Scotts Valley, California. This position is perfect for a collaborative, tech-forward leader who is experienced in team management, even if new to Document Control. The role involves supervising two Document Control Specialists, streamlining document workflows, and ensuring quality and compliance standards are met across engineering and manufacturing documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Supervise, coach, and develop a team of two Document Control Specialists. Provide performance feedback, task prioritization, and day-to-day support. Arena Integration:
Lead the final phases of our Arena PLM rollout, including user adoption, workflow automation, change control, and training support across departments. Change Management:
Oversee the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process to ensure timely review, routing, and release of documents in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory standards. Document Governance:
Maintain control and traceability of controlled documents including work instructions, specifications, part drawings, BOMs, quality procedures, and technical documents. Cross-functional Support:
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure document control practices support production readiness and product lifecycle milestones. Compliance & Standards:
Uphold ISO 9001 and customer-driven document control standards. Ensure audits, reviews, and document updates are performed accurately and on schedule. Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to optimize document workflows using Arena, SharePoint, and other platforms. Develop SOPs, training materials, and quick-reference guides as needed.

Qualifications
2+ years of leadership experience, ideally managing teams in a document control environment. Exposure to or a strong interest in document control, PLM systems, or quality compliance in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Arena (or similar PLM software) strongly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with SharePoint or other content/document management systems. Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

This position is a supervisory role with a competitive pay range. The salary is between $100,000 and $130,000 annually.
