Jones Networking is recruiting for a Supply Chain Analyst to join the corporate office of a manufacturing company based in Sterling, VA. This career opportunity provides support to the Supply Chain Department and will be involved with various project-oriented tasks to ensure that the implementation is carried out from the project's start to finish. Supply Chain Analyst Position Summary: -Collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with logistics requirements and resolve inquiries / issues with service providers. -Work with subject matter experts to understand context in datasets and processes. -Analyze, hypothesize and experiment with datasets to deliver insight. -Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of the companies' processes. -Support Buyers in identifying key business opportunities. -Understand the strategies of the facility and develop plans to support those strategies. -Develop and implement policies and procedures that guide or support service. -Communicate strategic recommendations and execute a course of action for overall improvement in operations, service and warehousing. -Execute continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications Summary: -Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar field. -Prior experience in a Supply Chain / Logistics Department. -Strong communication, memorization, and teamwork skills. -Excellent organizational, investigative, analytical and research abilities. -Team player with strong project management skills and dedication to seeing process improvements. -Advanced proficiency with Office 365. -NetSuite or other ERP software system experience.
